I am a Member but I can't sign in

Good news! Egreetings has been evolving constantly to make it easier and more fun for you to connect with everyone you care for. We’ve made it simpler than ever to log in to Egreetings.com. All you need is a Facebook account you can now use to log in to Egreetings and enjoy all the benefits of increased connectivity, like Upcoming Birthdays calendar with all your Facebook friends, comments on ecards and ecard recommendations through the Recent Activity feed on our homepage.

This system, called Facebook Connect, has replaced the previous membership system, therefore the existing memberships have been disabled. In return, we invite you to discover for yourself all the advantages of the new and improved Egreetings.

I am unable to pick up ecards that have been sent to me

If you cannot pick up or view an ecard you've been sent, please look over the list below to see if your situation is described.
Copy and paste the link included in your email into your web browser's "address" window.

OR

Enter the ecard Number on our ecard Pick Up Page at
http://www.egreetings.com/findit

OR

Click the “Pickup your ecard” link on the top right-hand site and enter your ecard Number.

OR

You are using WebTV. Some WebTV users are unable to view all of our ecards. If you have a newer version that came with a Flash plug-in, you will be able to view all of our ecards. If you have an older version of WebTV, however, you will only be able to view our electronic postcards.

OR

We forge the sender e-mail address so that it looks like it came from our customer (the sender of the ecards) and not from our address, "solutions@Egreetings.com". There are some email providers that will see the discrepancy between the sender's address and the sender indicated in the subject line, and will filter the card and send it to the trash.

I am unable to view animation

Many of our interactive ecards use an enhanced animation called Flash. To view these, you will need to have a Flash plug-in. You can download the Flash plug-in for FREE at http://www.adobe.com/.

The animation is slow or choppy

Slow modem speeds or slow computer processors can cause delays or slow animation on our ecards. We recommend using a modem speed of at least 56k to connect to the web, and a computer processor speed of at least 500 MHz. We also recommend closing all other applications on your computer (except your web browser) while you are viewing our ecards. If you still experience difficulty, you may want to install more memory on your computer.

Why won't my ecard load?

If you are having problems viewing your ecard, the problem may be temporary. Please wait a few minutes and try again. If you're still unable to view the ecard, the following information may help.

Browser Cache

Your browser's cache stores information about the web pages you've visited. Clearing your cache regularly frees up disk space on your computer, increases the computer's performance and rids your computer of any corrupted files.

Follow the instructions in your browser's Help section for clearing the cache. Once the cache has been cleared, close your browser window and re-open it.

Netscape users should look under Preferences, or for some versions of Netscape holding down the shift key and clicking the reload icon in the navigation toolbar will clear cache.

Internet Explorer users should look under Internet Options or for some versions of Internet Explorer, holding down the shift key and clicking the refresh icon in the navigation toolbar will clear cache.

Corporate Firewall

If you are at work, your company's firewall may prevent you from viewing our ecards. Check with your company's network administrator to find out if this is the case.

Adobe Flash

Our animated ecards are created using Adobe's Flash software. In order to view them, you need the most current version of Adobe's Flash Player. To download the most recent version of Adobe Flash, please click here.

If you choose to save the download rather than launching it automatically, it won't install until you double click the icon from wherever you save it.

E-Mail-Only Service

You need full internet access in order to view an ecard. Not all computer systems can view our ecard. "E-mail only" services such as WebTV and some types of Juno/NetZero service may not be able to display ecards.

I am unable to hear sound/music on the site.

First, please check your individual computer controls. Please remember that not all of our ecards have sound.

If you are using WINDOWS, there should be a "horn" icon on the bottom right hand corner of your computer screen. Double click on the icon and make sure the volume control is turned up loud enough, and that the mute square is not checked.

We also advise checking your Multimedia settings.

Click the START button in the lower left corner of your screen. Select SETTINGS from the menu; then select CONTROL PANEL and check the Sound and Audio Devices.

If you are using a MAC, check to be sure that sound is enabled on your computer.

  • On the Edit menu, choose Options, and then click the Web Content tab. Make sure that the Play Sounds check box is selected.
  • Check to make sure that your computer's volume is turned up.
  • Check to make sure that you have the QuickTime Musical Instruments extension installed on your computer. It should be in the Extensions folder in your System folder. If you do not have this extension installed, visit http://quicktime.apple.com for more information and to download a copy.
  • If you are still unable to hear the sound that accompanies our ecards, you will want to download the appropriate plug-in. Find your browser below to locate information about the plug-in needed for your system.
  • First, please check your individual computer controls.

Please remember that not all of our ecards have sound.

Is the ecard I received valid?

Unfortunately we are currently aware of some malicious activity being channeled through invalid ecard notifications. If you have any doubt as to whether or not your ecard notice is valid and truly from Egreetings.com, you can always follow these simple and safe steps:

  1. Physically type in our web address, (www.egreetings.com), into your browser
  2. Go to the ecard pickup link at the top right-hand side of the page
  3. Enter your specific greeting card code

As of right now, here are some other indicators of ecard notices not from us.

If you find any of these attributes in your ecard notice, do not click on anything within that email:

  • Our subject line is always: I sent you an ecard from Egreetings.com. Their subject line varies (i.e. You've received an ecard from a class-mate! or You've received a postcard from a family member!)
  • Our "from" line: services@support.Egreetings.com; on behalf of (the email address of the person sending you the card). Their "from" line: "Egreetings.com" <gqg@btol.com> (note that the email address is random)
  • Our ecard pickup link: will always have www.Egreetings.com as the start of the URL. Their ecard pickup link: starts with an IP address.

If you believe you have been subjected to an invalid ecard notice, again please do not click on any links within that email. Please forward to (security@Egreetings.com) to help further the investigation. You will not receive a response from our security department.

Is it possible to view an ecard that is older than 30 days?

We store ecards on our servers for a period of 30 days. After that, you can no longer view them online using the pick up information you received. Therefore they cannot be viewed after they cross the 30 days limit. We're sorry for the inconvenience caused because of this and we suggest you save your ecards for later viewing (see here: ENTER URL FOR HOW CAN I SAVE AN ECARD)

Please be aware that our websites are completely safe and our ecards are virus free & cannot be modified.
