Are all ecards on Egreetings free?

All ecards on Egreetings are free, including the Add Your Face greetings and games so there's no need to spend a dime when you want to make someone's day! Why won't my ecard load?

If you are having problems viewing your ecard, the problem may be temporary. Please wait a few minutes and try again. If you're still unable to view the ecard, the following information may help.

Browser Cache
Your browser's cache stores information about the web pages you've visited. Clearing your cache regularly frees up disk space on your computer, increases the computer's performance and rids your computer of any corrupted files.

Follow the instructions in your browser's Help section for clearing the cache. Once the cache has been cleared, close your browser window and re-open it.

Netscape users should look under Preferences, or for some versions of Netscape holding down the shift key and clicking the reload icon in the navigation toolbar will clear cache.
Internet Explorer users should look under Internet Options or for some versions of Internet Explorer, holding down the shift key and clicking the refresh icon in the navigation toolbar will clear cache.
Corporate Firewall
If you are at work, your company's firewall may prevent you from viewing our ecards. Check with your company's network administrator to find out if this is the case.

Macromedia Flash
Our animated ecards are created using Macromedia's Flash software. In order to view them, you need the most current version of Macromedia's Flash Player.

If you choose to save the download rather than launching it automatically, it won't install until you double click the icon from wherever you save it.

E-Mail-Only Service
You need full internet access in order to view an ecard. Not all computer systems can view our ecard. "E-mail only" services such as WebTV and some types of Juno/NetZero service may not be able to display ecards.

Why didn't the person I sent my ecard to receive it?

This problem most often turns out to be a typing error. Please double-check the accuracy of your recipient's e-mail address. However, if your recipient's e-mail address is correct, their internet service provider could be routing the ecard notification to a bulk folder by mistake. For example, Yahoo sets up bulk folders to intercept what they consider to be bulk mail or "spam" allowing only personal messages through to the inbox.

To assure that your ecards are received by your intended recipient, you may wish to send the ecard to yourself and then forward the notification that contains the ecard address to the recipient. You may also forward the copy you have received to the recipient.

How do I send an ecard through Facebook?

In order to send an ecard through Facebook, please log into Egreetings with your Facebook account by clicking the "Login with Facebook" button on the top right-hand side of the screen. Now, choose an ecard and click the gray "Share this ecard" button on the preview screen above the ecard.

You will now have the option to "Share on Facebook" or to "Share on other networks" . On Facebook, you can choose to "Post the ecard to a friend's wall" or to "Post to your wall".

If you are not currently logged into Facebook a window will appear asking you to log into your Facebook account or "Login to Facebook". Please log in to your Facebook account using your Facebook username and password.

If you are already logged into Facebook, you will be presented with your friends list to send the ecard to their wall or click the link "post this on your wall". When you choose to send the ecard to your own wall you will be given the choice to send it in a private message as well via a link in the bottom left corner that says "send as a message instead".

Post to a friend's wall:
Click your friend's picture or the "post" link to the right of the picture/name
Add your personal message
Click "publish" (or skip if you want to cancel the ecard)

Post to your own wall:
Click on "post this to your own wall"
Add a personal message
Click "Share" to send the ecard (or cancel to cancel the ecard)

Send as a private message:
Click on "post this to your own wall"
Click the link "send as a message instead" in the bottom left of the window
Type the name of the Facebook friend or email address you want to send it to
Add a personal message
Click "send message" (or cancel if you want to cancel the ecard)

How can I keep an ecard for longer than 30 days?

We only store ecards on our site for a limited time so you might want to save the ecards you want to keep. In order to do so, enter the ecard number you received in the email notification we sent you, on our Pick Up Page http://www.egreetings.com/findit. Then, go to "File" menu of your browser and click "Save As" to save the HTML.
